Job Description
Sr. Staff Software UI Engineer
Blue Coat Systems has an immediate opening for a senior level UI engineer with an eye for creating, designing and implementing usable interfaces. In this position, you will interact with top designer and architects of our acceleration technology, you will interact directly with our UX team, and will be responsible for delivering high-quality user interfaces for Blue Coat's WAN Optimization products. Your work will be viewed by our customer base worldwide.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce designs that will drive the future of UI for our WAN Optimization products.
- Implementation of design mockups, transforming wireframes into high-quality user interfaces.
- Active participant in root cause analysis of technical problems in the development, QA, or production environments.
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
· BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science
· Experience in Adobe Flex/AS3/AS4 or equivalent technologies
· Experience in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS
· Experience in C++/Java /C#
· Experience with middleware technologies like J2EE
· Strong object-oriented development skills, design patterns
· Excellent written communication skills
· Must be able to multi-task, work with little supervision, and learn new technologies as needed.
· Experience with developing UI for a standalone product – as opposed to a Web site – is highly preferred.
