About the position

Position Title: Software Engineer (WEB UI)

Years of Experience: 5 to 8 years



Job Description:

We are one of the leaders in Wireless LAN space. We are looking for a talented JavaScript/Jquery/DHTML/XML developer who is enthusiastic, energetic and has solid experience.

• responsible for taking ownership of management interface using object-oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries, HTML, and CSS

• Translate designs and style guides into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility, performance and robustness.

• Assume full control of HTML/CSS, maintaining code organization and cleanliness that support an array of web browsers (Safari; Chrome; Firefox; Internet Explorer 6, 7 & 8) using the latest web standards and best practices

• Perform complete unit-testing.

• The candidate will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure as well as develop new technologies.

• The candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment.





Required Skills and Abilities:

• Well versed in Web 2.0 Technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, XML.

• Jquery: mastering in Jquery, able to deploy existing and define new and reusable jquery components

• Javascript: master the object oriented aspect of javascript.

• DHTML: can handcode pages with dynamic displayable components.

• XML: define/design XML given a problem and able to parsing and traversing the XML programmatically

• CSS: capability to define/design flexible, reusable styles as per given mockups

- Fundamentals of networking

- Understanding of Wireless LAN would be a BIGGG plus.
