• SQL Server Administration
• Installation, configuration the database on the internal and production environment
• Backup and restore, security management to support all teams within the organization
• Monitor the internal and production servers regularly and be responsible for system error diagnosis and troubleshooting as well as with proactively addressing potential systems
• Maintain a security SQL server environment, as well as assisting in disaster recovery if necessary
• Be responsible for database capacity planning and resource management including storage and operating system resources
• Establish and maintain the operational procedures and conduct database auditing to ensure such policies are complied with

• Technical/Product Support
• Prepare and test the database upgrade package, and maintain the database versions, patches and hot fixes
• Control the product licenses and prepare the database distribution
• Lead ongoing database and system performance monitoring in order to proactively diagnose potential performance issues and participate in troubleshooting those to ensure optimum performance
• Identify poorly performing queries, stored procedures, views, tables, and take steps to improve performance including, but not limited to code optimization
