Haryana Gramin Bank (HGB) was formed in 2005 as a result of the merging of four other rural banks. HGB is Sponsored by Punjab national bank and it is operating in Haryana through 211 branches spread across 16 districts. HGB Invites aplications for recruitment for Officers & Office Assistants
No.of Vacancies: ) Officer (scale I) – 53 posts – Rs.22141 /month
2) Office Assistant – 56 posts – Rs.12256 /month

Important Dates:

Online applications – 8.02.2011 to 10.03.2011
Written test for Officer posts – 29.5.2011, Assistant – 22.5.2011


Eligibility Criteria : For Officers-
 Age must be between 18yrs – 28yrs as on  5.02.2011,
Should posses a Degree(any discipline) from a recognized university as on 5.02.2011,
Should be proficient in the Hindi language & Candidate from any part of India is eligible to apply.
for Office Assistants:
Age between 18 – 28yrs , as on 05.02.2011
Pass in degree from a recog. university as on 05.02.2011,
Should be proficient in the Hindi language and Must be resident of Haryana
Basic computer knowledge is desirable.

Selection Procedure:


Selection procedure is based on the performance in written test & Interview.There will be Negative Marking for each wrong answer in Objective Type Test.
Successful candidates in rhe Written Test to be called for Interview according to Merit in 1:3 ratio Depending on the No.of Vacancies.

Application Procedure : The fees is 300(Gen/OBC) or Rs.50(SC/ST) for office assistant & Rs.500 (Gen/OBC) or Rs.50 (SC/ST) for Officers.
